Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kentucky Country Day Bearcats (Louisville, KY), 76-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Henry County upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Carroll County (Carrollton, KY) to clash with the Panthers in a District 31 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Carroll County lost 74-42 in their recent non-league bout against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY)

Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Louisville Saints HomeSchool Saints (Louisville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Kentucky Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 54-53 non-league loss to Valley (Louisville, KY).
