In Saturday's non-league outing, the Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD) basketball squad nipped the visiting Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD), by a margin of 46-40.

The Coyotes (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bison (Bison, SD). The Cardinals go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record.
