Holdenville Wolverines (Holdenville, OK) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hugo Buffaloes (Hugo, OK), 60-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Holdenville upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Wewoka (Wewoka, OK) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Wewoka lost 67-35 in their recent non-league bout against North Rock Creek (Shawnee, OK)

Next up, the Buffaloes play the Star-Spencer Bobcats (Spencer, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Hugo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 61-48 non-league loss to Glenpool (Glenpool, OK).
