Montana High School Basketball - Sweet Grass County ripped by Jefferson

The Jefferson Panthers basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Sweet Grass County Sheepherders to 42 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Three Forks for a B District 5 contest on Thursday, December 14. Jefferson will meet a Wolves team coming off a 54-51 non-league loss to Fairfield (Fairfield, MT). The Wolves record now stands at 0-1.

The Sheepherders (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Joliet (Joliet, MT). The J Hawks enter the B District 4 contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Joliet triumphed over Colstrip (Colstrip, MT), 76-50, in a non-league contest.
