Indiana High School Basketball - Silver Creek tops Jennings County

December 9, 2023: North Vernon, IN 47265

Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN), 72-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Silver Creek upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Jeffersonville lost 40-39 in their recent league bout against Seymour (Seymour, IN)

Next up, the Panthers play the Greensburg Pirates (Greensburg, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Jennings County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 50-38 non-league loss to Triton Central (Fairland, IN).
