In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Saucon Valley Panthers basketball team scored a good 57-48 triumph over the Jim Thorpe Olympians.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Moravian Academy Lions (Bethlehem, PA) in a Colonial - East match, on Monday, December 11. Saucon Valley will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 39-36 league win over Palisades (Kintnersville, PA).

With the defeat, Jim Thorpe moves to 0-4 on the year. The Olympians travel to Lehighton (Lehighton, PA) to face the Indians in a Schuylkill County 1 match on Monday, December 11. The Indians enter the match with a record of 2-1. Lehighton won 69-35 in their recent non-league match against Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA)
