The Licking Heights Hornets basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Lakewood Lancers to 28 in the Hornets non-league victory on Saturday.

The Hornets now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Licking Valley for a Licking County - Buckeye contest on Wednesday, December 13. Licking Heights will battle a Panthers team coming off a 62-31 league win over Newark Catholic (Newark, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.

The Lancers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Johnstown-Monroe (Johnstown, OH). The Johnnies come into the Licking County - Cardinal contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Johnstown-Monroe was routed by Granville (Granville, OH), 55-43, in a non-league contest.
