Pine Bluff Zebras (Pine Bluff, AR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Little Rock Southwest Gryphons (Little Rock, AR), 67-59 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pine Bluff upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Zebras travel to Sheridan (Sheridan, AR) to play the Yellowjackets in a 5A South bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Sheridan won 59-43 in their recent non-league bout against Hamburg (Hamburg, AR)

Next up, the Gryphons play the Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR) in a 6A Central bout, on Saturday, December 9. Little Rock Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
