The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Monticello Sages to 42 in the Trojans non-league victory on Saturday.

The Trojans now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warrensburg-Latham for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15.

The Sages (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond (Arthur, IL). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond was defeated by Paris (Paris, IL), 54-46, in a non-league contest.
