MICDS Rams (St. Louis, MO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Marquette Catholic Explorers (Alton, IL), 65-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, MICDS upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rams travel to Eureka (Eureka, MO) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Explorers clash with the Christ Our Rock Lutheran Silver Stallions (Centralia, IL) in a Gateway bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Marquette Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Silver Stallions go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 70-36 league win over Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL).
