The Mineral Point Pointers basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Prairie du Chien Blackhawks to 30 in the Pointers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pointers now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boscobel for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest on Tuesday, December 12. Mineral Point will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 36-29 league loss to Fennimore (Fennimore, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.

The Blackhawks (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dodgeville (Dodgeville, WI). The Dodgers enter the Southwest Wisconsin contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Dodgeville triumphed over Richland Center (Richland Center, WI), 52-48, in a league contest.
