New Hampton School Huskies (New Hampton, NH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Phelps Lions (Malvern, PA), 85-72 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Hampton School upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Huskies travel to Brewster Academy Prep (Wolfeboro, NH) to play the Bobcats in a Lakes Region bout on Sunday, December 10. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Brewster Academy Prep won 80-78 in their recent non-league bout against Wilbraham & Monson Academy (Wilbraham, MA)

Next up, the Lions play the Perkiomen School Panthers (Pennsburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Phelps will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 60-58 non-league win over Shipley (Bryn Mawr, PA).
