In Saturday's non-league outing, the Providence Christian Eagles (Dothan, AL) basketball squad edged the visiting Shorecrest Prep Chargers (St. Petersburg, FL), by a margin of 61-55.
The Eagles (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Slocomb (Slocomb, AL). The Red Tops go into the non-league outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, Slocomb was tipped by Ariton (Ariton, AL), 63-29, in a non-league outing.
The Chargers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Northside Christian for a non-league outing on Friday, December 15. Shorecrest Prep will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 81-62 non-league loss to Lakeside Christian (Clearwater, FL). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-2.
