The Springtown Porcupines basketball team (Springtown, TX), was nudged 51-47 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX)

The Rough Riders now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Georgetown for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 9. Saginaw will battle a Eagles team coming off a 71-24 non-league win over Dalhart (Dalhart, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 8-5.

The Porcupines (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Azle (Azle, TX). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, Azle was nudged by Connally (Waco, TX), 46-43, in a non-league battle.
