Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA), 79-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Spotswood upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Trailblazers travel to William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA) to clash with the Dragons in a Valley bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 6-1. William Monroe won 60-46 in their recent non-league bout against Rappahannock County (Washington, VA)

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA) in a Northwestern bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Skyline will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 60-58 non-league loss to Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA).
