Skyview Wolverines (Thornton, CO) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Valley Vikings (Gilcrest, CO), 49-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Skyview upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Fort Lupton (Fort Lupton, CO) to play the Bluedevils in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Bluedevils come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Fort Lupton lost 58-52 in their recent non-league bout against Thornton (Thornton, CO)

Next up, the Vikings play the Jefferson Academy Jaguars (Broomfield, CO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 66-43 non-league win over Jefferson (Edgewater, CO).
