The Wayzata Trojans basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the host Totino-Grace Eagles to 81 in the Trojans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Trojans now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shakopee for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Wayzata will battle a Sabers team coming off a 78-34 non-league win over Duluth East (Duluth, MN). The Sabers record now stands at 3-0.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Spring Lake Park edged Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN), 89-60, in a non-league contest.
