South Dakota High School Basketball - Menno ripped by Alcester-Hudson

December 9, 2023: Alcester, SD 57001

The Alcester-Hudson Cubs basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Menno Wolves to 32 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cubs now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Sioux for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Alcester-Hudson will face a Falcons team coming off a 69-18 non-league loss to Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, Menno moves to 0-2 on the year. The Wolves host Scotland (Scotland, SD) to face the Highlanders in a B Region 4 match on Tuesday, December 12. The Highlanders enter the match with a record of 0-2. Scotland lost 38-23 in their recent non-league match against Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan (Emery, SD)
