The Tonkawa Buccaneers basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Aline-Cleo Cougars to 5 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Buccaneers now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chisholm for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Tonkawa will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 39-37 non-league loss to Kellyville (Kellyville, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-4.

The Cougars (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Deer Creek-Lamont (Lamont, OK). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Deer Creek-Lamont was routed by Ringwood (Ringwood, OK), 37-28, in a league contest.
