Illinois High School Basketball - Waubonsie Valley overwhelms Aurora East

December 9, 2023: Aurora, IL 60505

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) and the host Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), saw Waubonsie Valley's basketball squad wallop Aurora East by a tally of 74-14.

With the victory, Waubonsie Valley improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL) to battle the Warriors in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 3-6. Willowbrook lost 54-51 in their recent league battle against Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL)

The Tomcats (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Raiders come into the Upstate Eight battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Glenbard South was overwhelmed by Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL), 47-41, in a non-league battle.
