The Bend Lava Bears basketball team (Bend, OR), was overwhelmed 58-36 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR)
The Olympians now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Churchill for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Sprague will confront a Lancers team coming off a 43-37 non-league loss to Ridgeview (Redmond, OR). The Lancers record now stands at 0-4.
The Lava Bears (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against McNary (Keizer, OR). The Celtics come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, McNary trounced Thurston (Springfield, OR), 68-51, in a non-league battle.
