In Saturday's non-league match, the host Deep Creek Hornets basketball team scored a decisive 65-34 triumph over the Bethel Bruins.

In their next game, the Hornets meet the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern match, on Tuesday, December 12. Deep Creek will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 60-57 non-league loss to Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD).
