In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Central Christian Cougars (Hutchinson, KS) basketball squad overcame the host Goessel Bluebirds (Goessel, KS), by a tally of 36-25.

With the victory, Central Christian improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Macksville (Macksville, KS) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Macksville lost 58-20 in their recent non-league challenge against South Gray (Montezuma, KS)

Next up, the Bluebirds play the Rural Vista [Hope/White City] Heat (Hope, KS) in a Wheat State challenge, on Friday, December 15. Goessel will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Heat come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 39-8 non-league win over Centre (Lost Springs, KS).
