    • Maryland High School Basketball - New Town edges Charles J. Colgan

    December 9, 2023: Owings Mills, MD 21117

    The New Town (Owings Mills, MD) basketball nipped the visiting Charles J. Colgan Sharks (Manassas, VA), 66-61 in Saturday's non-league test.

    The (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Kenwood (Baltimore, MD). The Bluebirds go into the Baltimore County 2 test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Kenwood got by Overlea (Baltimore, MD), 55-7, in a league test.

    The Sharks now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Woodbridge for a Cardinal test on Thursday, December 14. Charles J. Colgan will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 56-23 non-league win over Brooke Point (Stafford, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-3.
