Cheraw Wolverines (Cheraw, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hanover Hornets (Colorado Springs, CO), 42-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cheraw upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Wolverines host Kim/Branson (Kim, CO) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Kim/Branson won 42-27 in their recent non-league bout against Sierra Grande (Blanca, CO)

Next up, the Hornets play the Deer Trail Eagles (Deer Trail, CO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Hanover will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 32-21 non-league win over Cripple Creek-Victor (Cripple Creek, CO).
