The Logan County Cougars basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Clinton County Bulldogs to 57 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bowling Green for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11. Logan County will battle a Purples team coming off a 52-44 non-league win over Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY). The Purples record now stands at 2-0.

The Bulldogs (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY). The Panthers enter the District 16 contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Cumberland County nudged Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY), 49-42, in a league contest.
