With the victory, Davis County improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Cardinal (Eldon, IA) to encounter the Comets in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. The Comets go into the test with a record of 2-4. Cardinal lost 31-22 in their recent non-league test against Sigourney (Sigourney, IA)

The Trojans now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Keokuk for a Southeast test on Friday, December 15. Fairfield will encounter a Chiefs squad coming off a 73-40 non-league win over West Hancock (Britt, IA). The Chiefs record now stands at 5-1.
