Port Neches-Groves Indians (Port Neches, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Deweyville Pirates (Deweyville, TX), 45-13 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Port Neches-Groves upgrades its record to 8-13 on the season. The Indians travel to Buna (Buna, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Buna won 46-26 in their recent non-league bout against Nederland (Nederland, TX)

Next up, the Pirates play the East Chambers Buccaneers (Winnie, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Deweyville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
