St. Paul Buckaroos (St. Paul, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Echo Cougars (Echo, OR), 44-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Paul upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Buckaroos travel to Crosshill Christian (Turner, OR) to play the Eagles in a 1A Casco bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Crosshill Christian won 64-29 in their recent non-league bout against Open Door Christian Academy (Troutdale, OR)

Next up, the Cougars play the Wallowa Cougars (Wallowa, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Echo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 43-19 non-league win over Alsea (Alsea, OR).
