In Saturday's non-league outing, the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL), by a margin of 42-38.
The Vikings (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Marian Catholic held off Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL), 39-36, in a league outing.
