Illinois High School Basketball - Freeburg knocked off by Okawville

The Okawville Rockets basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Freeburg Midgets to 34 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Rockets now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sparta for a Cahokia - Illinois contest on Thursday, December 14. Okawville will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-18 non-league win over Dupo (Dupo, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-6.

The Midgets (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Mascoutah was outscored by Jersey (Jerseyville, IL), 58-43, in a league contest.
