The Marshall Hilltoppers (Duluth, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN), 96-66 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hilltoppers (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN). The Rangers go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record.
The Hawks now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Branch for a AAA Section 7 test on Tuesday, December 12. Hermantown will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 72-46 league loss to Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] (Eveleth, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 1-3.
