Texas High School Basketball - Kaufman can't hold off Mineola

The Mineola Yellowjackets basketball team scored 27 points and restricted the visiting Kaufman Lions to 21 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Saturday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lone Oak for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Mineola will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 43-37 non-league loss to Palestine (Palestine, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-7.
The Lions (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Corsicana (Corsicana, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Corsicana was nudged by Edgewood (Edgewood, TX), 58-25, in a non-league contest.
