The Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) basketball crushed the visiting St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL), 57-34 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Indians (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Indians go into the Kishwaukee River test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Sandwich walloped Harvard (Harvard, IL), 54-34, in a league test.
The Green Wave now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host West Chicago for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16.
