In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Milano Eagles basketball team scored a tight 38-37 triumph over the Veritas Academy .
In their next game, the Eagles meet the Thorndale Bulldogs (Thorndale, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 27 match, on Tuesday, December 12. Milano will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record.
