Parsons Vikings (Parsons, KS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mulvane Wildcats (Mulvane, KS), 51-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Parsons upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Vikings host Labette County (Altamont, KS) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Winfield Vikings (Winfield, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Mulvane will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 59-26 non-league loss to Arkansas City (Arkansas City, KS).
