Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA), 37-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nevada Union upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Miners host El Dorado (Placerville, CA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-3. El Dorado won 47-35 in their recent non-league bout against Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Notre Dame Spirits (Salinas, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Stevenson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
