New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Santa Fe, NM) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Phoenix, AZ), 25-8 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, New Mexico School for the Deaf upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Roadrunners travel to Tierra Encantada (Santa Fe, NM) to play the in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Tierra Encantada lost 59-5 in their recent non-league bout against Coronado (Gallina, NM)

Next up, the Roadrunners play the North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Gladiators (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Phoenix Day School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Gladiators come into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 68-10 non-league loss to North Valley Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ).
