Providence Christian Eagles (Dothan, AL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Shorecrest Prep Chargers (St. Petersburg, FL), 55-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Providence Christian upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Eagles host Slocomb (Slocomb, AL) to clash with the Red Tops in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Red Tops go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Slocomb lost 39-24 in their recent non-league bout against Ariton (Ariton, AL)

Next up, the Chargers clash with the Northside Christian Mustangs (St. Petersburg, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Shorecrest Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 88-17 non-league loss to Clearwater (Clearwater, FL).
