In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Slidell Greyhounds basketball team scored a tight 42-38 triumph over the Valley View Eagles.
In their next game, the Greyhounds meet the Saint Jo Panthers (Saint Jo, TX) in a 1A Region III District 22 match, on Friday, December 15. Slidell will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record.
