Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) and the host Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA), saw Southwest DeKalb's basketball squad overcome Westlake by a tally of 60-43.

With the victory, Southwest DeKalb improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Clarkston (Clarkston, GA) to confront the Angoras in a AAAA Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Angoras come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Clarkston lost 61-32 in their recent league challenge against Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Lions confront the Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Westlake will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record.
