North Carolina High School Basketball - Westover nips Trinity Christian

Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Trinity Christian Crusaders (Fayetteville, NC), 46-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Westover upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Richmond (Rockingham, NC) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Richmond won 68-7 in their recent league bout against Southern Lee (Sanford, NC)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Living Water Christian Warriors (Jacksonville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Trinity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record.
