Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM), 43-3 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pojoaque Valley upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Elks/Elkettes travel to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Warriors play the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Socorro will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 46-29 non-league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
