In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Rio Mesa Spartans soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Ontario Jaguars.
The Spartans (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA). The Royals come into the battle with a 0-0 record.
The Jaguars (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Burroughs (Ridgecrest, CA). The Burros come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Burroughs by Tehachapi (Tehachapi, CA), 19-0, in a non-league battle.
