The Christian Patriots basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Mount Miguel Matadors to 44 in the Patriots non-league victory on Saturday.
The Patriots now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grossmont for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15.
The Matadors (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA). The Mariners come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Mar Vista prevailed over El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA), 59-20, in a non-league contest.
