The Summit Shasta Black Bears basketball team (Daly City, CA), was toppled 57-42 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Half Moon Bay Cougars (Half Moon Bay, CA)
The Cougars now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to De La Salle for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 14. Half Moon Bay will confront a Spartans team coming off a 45-44 non-league win over St. Mary's (Stockton, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-1.
The Black Bears (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Oakwood (Morgan Hill, CA). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Oakwood beat Overfelt (San Jose, CA), 69-16, in a non-league battle.
