Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lancaster Mennonite Blazers (Lancaster, PA), 48-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Haverford upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Fords travel to Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Blazers play the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders (Lancaster, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Lancaster Mennonite will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
