River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Stockton Christian Eagles (Stockton, CA), 66-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, River Islands upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Riptide travel to Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Ripon Christian lost 69-31 in their recent non-league bout against Modesto Christian (Modesto, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Elliot Christian Eagles (Lodi, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Stockton Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 43-20 non-league loss to Johnson (Sacramento, CA).
