The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA) and the visiting Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA), observed West Shamokin's basketball team overwhelm Apollo Ridge by a margin of 67-42.

The Wolves (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA). The Blue Jays come into the Heritage challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Conemaugh Valley trounced Ferndale (Johnstown, PA), 71-60, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Carrick Raiders (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 11. Apollo Ridge will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 57-44 non-league loss to Nazareth Area (Nazareth, PA).
