Louisiana High School Basketball - Washington-Marion holds off Barbe

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Washington-Marion Charging Indians basketball team scored a close 58-51 triumph over the Barbe Buccaneers.

The Charging Indians (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA). The Broncos go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Sam Houston nipped DeRidder (DeRidder, LA), 65-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Buccaneers confront the Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 12. Barbe will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Red Devils go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 51-49 non-league win over Singer (Singer, LA).
